Briarwood Cattle Farm, in partnership with Feeding America Real Meat (F.A.R.M.), a 501(c) non-profit organization, is proud to announce our 3rd annual Day of Healing. This event is dedicated to bringing awareness to mental health and suicide prevention, a cause that touches many lives within our community and beyond. Scheduled for a day of reflection, education, and connection, this free event is open to everyone.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in wellness and chair yoga sessions, listen to enlightening keynote speakers, and connect with mental health counselors. Specifically designed to support veterans and community members alike, our Day of Healing aims to introduce the benefits of Agri-Therapy, facilitate conversations with mental health specialists, and encourage discussions with veterans who have found solace and purpose in farming.
We are delighted to offer complimentary breakfast (Panera Bread), a fulfilling lunch (Mission BBQ), and refreshing snoballs (ice breakers), ensuring our guests are well-fed and comfortable throughout the day.
